The moonlight glinted off the barrel of Tiana Charon's blaster as she navigated the dark, narrow alleyways leading up to the club where she lived. The fifteen-year-old was limping slightly, proof that the night's target had put up quite a struggle. She turned left at the end of the passageway and paused to stare at her home.
The Drunken Rabbit.
Bar. Nightclub. Headquarters to one of the most feared collection of individuals in the Systemary Alliance.
Tia sighed. It was the only home that she had ever known.

Tiana slowed a few metres before she reached the door to pull up her hood. It was Austyn's turn at the door tonight and he had a fit every time she entered by the front door as she was so clearly an unaccompanied minor. Putting her hood up and obscuring her young face usually reduced said fit to a scowl and some muttered words about the back door being less conspicuous.
She shoved her hands in her pockets as she passed the glaring bouncer. It usually got rough in clubs this side of the Wall after midnight, and Brer Rabbit insisted that one of the boys stood at the door in the freezing cold to prevent any trouble. She stuck her tongue out at Austyn to annoy him further, then headed towards the door at the back of the room, behind the bar, that hid the stairs leading to the dorms in the basement.
